Every US citizen age 18 or older who has resided in the city or ward for 10 days before any election. If a person moves within this state later than 10 days before an election, they shall vote at his/her previous election district or ward. If a person is convicted of treason, a felony or bribery, they are not allowed to vote unless his/her civil rights are restored.

If you wish to register to vote at your polling place, you must bring proof that you have lived at your present location for 10 days preceding the election. The elector must provide identification giving his or her complete name and address. Acceptable forms of identification include a Wisconsin driver’s license, Wisconsin ID card, library card, check cashing or courtesy card issued by a merchant, real estate tax bill or receipt, a gas, electric or telephone service statement dated less than 90 days prior to the election.
